Ninja Training Guide

To become a black belt faster, talk to the Sensi and select “Competition Mode”. The Sensi will choose an oppenent for you. That way he is more likely to notice your skills improving than if you just play it on your own. It takes a lot of patience. I had to play card-jitsu for at least 90 times before I became a black belt. When earning a belt, it depends on how many times you play the game, and not how many times you win. You might play 10 times in a row without winning once and still get a belt. The same might not apply if you use power cards. Here are the belt colors in order:

(White)

Yellow

Orange

Green

Blue

Red

Purple

Brown

Black

Once you are a black belt, go challenge the Sensi. At first nothing seems to change, but play him for about ten times or so and he’ll start to mess up.  After you defeated him, you will get the ninja mask and have access to the secret ninja room. Here’s what it looks like:

The ninja room is sometimes decorated for holidays or special events, and is a nice quiet place to practice card-jitsu.  Also, you can buy things from the Martial Arts catalog if you’re a member. You can get a dojo igloo, a ninja suit, a rice paper wall-screen, a stone lantern, a hand gong, and read a story about how Sensi built the Dojo a long time ago in the catalog.

And if you throw a snowball at one of the gongs hanging from the roof, it will make a sound. If you are a ninja and cannot find the entrance to the hideout, the secret entrance is here:

Have fun playing card-jitsu!
